Featured Adoptables

Spartan
One-year-old Spartan enjoys playing "catch" because, despite our best efforts, he has not yet mastered the art of playing fetch. Spartan was surrendered to LHS in January because his owner could not care for him due to his declining health. This strikingly handsome boy is very active and will require regular exercise - a fenced in yard would be a plus, so that when he does learn fetch he can run around lots! He's always up for an adventure and would love an active owner. Spartan wants to be the spoiled only 4-legged child, but he will gladly share your home (and your love) with older children (15+ due to his size & energy level). If you think Spartan might be the perfect dog for you and your lifestyle, come visit him today!

Eliza
Super shy Eliza would rather hide under her bed than anything else. But what she really needs is someone with the love and patience to massage her cares away. Our TLC volunteers work with her here at the shelter, but this gorgeous gray would be happiest in a quiet home where she can learn to trust and relax. While she's awaiting her spaying, she has time to do that. In the meantime, feel free to come in and fill out an application for her adoption.

Whiskers
Whiskers was brought to the shelter as a stray and after being out in the big, scary world all by himself, he has a little bit of confidence building to do. Although he is shy, some ear scratches and a few soothing words, is all he needs to relax a little. He is ready to start a new chapter in his life and would like to find his very own human who will make him feel safe and loved. So if you have room in your home (and heart) for a kitty that just needs a little extra TLC, visit Whiskers today!

Ruby
This beautiful girl is Ruby! This two-year-old Checkered Giant mix has been with us since August 2015 and she has been patiently waiting to find a new home! She is very calm and can be a bit shy so she could use some extra TLC to bring out her affectionate side. She came to the shelter because her previous owner was moving and could not take her along. Ruby would prefer a home with someone who has experience with rabbits and has plenty of time to give her the attention she needs.
Stop in and see her before someone else is lucky enough to adopt her!
